Q: When attempting to download a driver for my Mac, I receive and error message that states "The disk image you are opening may be damaged and could damage your system. Are you sure you want to open this disk image?". What should I do?
A: Beginning with Mac OS X 10.4.9, Apple made changes to the way disk images are verified when being opened. Because of this, some users may receive this error message when attempting to download an M-Audio driver that was created on earlier versions of OS X (10.4.8 and below). If you receive this error message, click "Yes" to continue opening the disk image. Opening the disk image and installing the drivers will not damage your system in any way.
