New Driver for MIDISPORT Anniversary Edition Interfaces
Latest update offers improved multi-device support for Mac and PC
The MIDISPORT Anniversary Edition USB MIDI interfaces introduced exciting new features to M-Audio’s acclaimed line, including multi-device and multi-client functionality. Multi-device support allows multiple MIDISPORT Anniversary Edition interfaces to be used on the same system without conflicts—while multi-client operation facilitates use of the MIDISPORT by several programs at the same time.

Now M-Audio is pleased to release a new driver that further enhances operation of the multi-device feature. This update also offers improved performance when using MIDISPORT Anniversary Edition interfaces in tandem with a USB audio device.




The new driver is available now for the following operating systems:

● Windows Vista 32-bit
● Windows Vista 32-bit SP1
● Mac OS X 10.4.11
● Mac OS X 10.5.3
● Mac OS X 10.5.4

Multi-Client and Multi-Device Support

The MIDISPORT Anniversary Edition interfaces are designed to integrate MIDI-based hardware gear and software applications into a streamlined system. Multi-client operation facilitates use of the MIDISPORT by several programs at the same time—enabling you to run multiple software applications while using just one MIDI interface. Multi-device support allows you to use more than one MIDISPORT Anniversary Edition on the same computer simultaneously, providing flexibility in case you want to expand your rig.
