M-Audio is proud to announce that Session—the make-music-now software for PC—is currently available in a standalone configuration with the M-Audio Micro interface. Following the June release of Session with M-Audio’s Fast Track USB audio interface, the M-Audio Micro delivers a compact and even more affordable option, giving you the ability to make music whenever and wherever the inspiration strikes. While the Fast Track USB/Session bundle is a powerful solution if you want to get started in PC-based music creation, using Session with the M-Audio Micro is the perfect option if you aren’t recording instruments, but still want the advantages of professional interface technology with a powerful ASIO (audio streaming in/out) audio driver.

M-Audio’s Session software empowers you to turn a PC into a fun and versatile home recording studio. The software was designed with an emphasis on ease of use, greatly reducing the learning curve so you can dive right in and begin making music almost instantly.
Session ships with 3.5GB of loops and other instrument content, providing a diverse range of sounds from just about every musical genre. In a matter of minutes, you can go from a blank slate to a professional-sounding masterpiece simply by dragging and dropping loops into place.
